OpenAI CEO Sam Altman clarifies to Tech Mahindra CEO CP Gurnani, says comments taken out of context

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has advised that aspiring startups should ask themselves what they can do that’s never been done before, instead of attempting to compete with OpenAI's foundational models. Altman's message came after Tech Mahindra CEO and MD CP Gurnani tweeted a response to Altman's comments about Indian companies achieving competitiveness against OpenAI with just $10m. Altman added that his previous remarks about Indian startups trying to contend with OpenAI had been taken out of context.
