Music streaming platform Spotify fined $5 million for breaking these EU data rules

Spotify, the popular music streaming platform, has been fined $5.4M in Sweden. The European Union has fined Spotify over the allegations that the company violated the data access rights of its users in the European Union. Spotify needed to provide complete information about the personal data it processes in response to individual requests, but it failed.
