Apple to stop selling these two popular Apple Watch models in the US, here’s why

Apple is pausing the sale of Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 in the United States due to a dispute with Masimo over the SpO2 sensor. The International Trade Commission (ITC) has imposed a ban, resulting in the halt of sales. The ban is only applicable in the US, and the Apple Watch SE will still be sold. Masimo filed a lawsuit against Apple for patent infringement, and the ITC ruled in favor of Masimo. Apple is exploring legal and technical options to ensure availability of the Apple Watch.
